Waipu Motors Limited ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct it, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or booking request through this website, we collect:
- your name and phone number
- your email address, if you give it
- your vehicle registration, the service you're interested in, and your preferred date and time (booking requests)
- your message, and how you heard about us
We also keep simple, anonymous counts of website use — for example, how many times the "Call" button is tapped — and use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. These don't identify you personally.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and confirm your booking, and look after your vehicle. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Storage and security
Form submissions are stored securely on our website's server and emailed to our workshop team. We keep them only as long as we need them for the purposes above.
Who we share it with
Only with the people who need it to help you — our workshop team, and the company that builds and hosts this website (Podium Software Limited), which handles it on our behalf.
